Dr. Mark Schrag is a graduate of WSU's College of Veterinary Medicine. His areas of particular interest include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery and exotic animal medicine.
Birds have been a favorite area of focus, having treated diseases and performed surgery on everything from parakeets to eagles. He is also one of the area's only licensed raptor rehabilitators, allowing us to help and hopefully release some of this area's regal, flying wildlife.
He also treats ferrets, hedgehogs, rabbits, and other small mammals and rodents. He and Dr. Sara routinely enjoy the outdoors with their daughter, son, and three dogs. A needy orange tabby claim ownership as well. Dr. Schrag's hobbies include photography, hiking, fishing, and music.
Dr. Sara Schrag is a graduate of WSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She is thrilled to be an integral part of the Hunter Veterinary Clinic team as “the other Dr. Schrag” (but happily goes by Dr. Sara).
Her primary passion is providing high-quality medicine and compassionate care to her patients and clients. She also sees several exotic species that frequent the clinic.
Dr. Sara works part-time at the clinic and full-time as a mom to a high energy girl and boy. She shares the blame for the dogs and cat that populate their home.
