At Hunter Veterinary Clinic in Spokane, WA, we understand everyone's life is busy. That's why we offer many ways for your pet to be seen at our clinic, including the area's first "urgent care" clinic. If you have any questions, please call our office at (509) 327-9354.
Emergency Pet Care
If your pet is experiencing an emergency, please call us RIGHT AWAY at (509) 327-9354 and press "option 1." (Be advised that non-emergencies will be transferred back to the main phone line.) Please do not wait until 10 AM if it is a true emergency. We set aside time every day for emergencies. Receptionists will work with you and our doctors to triage your pet and let you know when we can work you in or refer you to a local emergency clinic if we cannot give your pet the necessary care.
Urgent and Wellness Care
Appointments can be reserved Monday - Friday starting at 10 AM for a same afternoon visit between 2-5 PM!

2. Call us at (509) 327-9354 after 10 AM on the day you want to reserve your appointment slot.
New Clients
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled reservation to ensure the paperwork is complete before your appointment.
While there may be a short wait before your appointment, rest assured that that we take the necessary time with each owner and their pet to ensure compassionate, comprehensive care is offered.
WALK-IN CLINIC
We will be CLOSED for all Saturdays in September
Saturday morning walk-in appointments: We are open the first Saturday of the month (starting October 5, 2024) for walk-in appointments. These are available on a first come, first served (except for triaged emergency cases) basis. Number of cases will be based on doctor and staff availability and may vary from month to month.
All patients must be checked in before noon. Most Saturdays are busy and can have wait times upwards of 2-3 hours, so please bring a snack and a good book or tablet to keep your family entertained.
To keep things fair for everyone present, you must stay in our parking lot to maintain your place in line. Our experienced veterinary technicians or doctors assess emergencies and may move your pet to the front of the line if the pet's condition requires it.
Prescheduled Appointments
We offer prescheduled appointments in the mornings, Monday through Friday. These can be scheduled by calling us at (509) 327-9354 and speaking with one of our receptionists to find our next available opening.
Drop-Off Appointments
Are you still having trouble getting in to be seen? For some situations and schedules, the best way for your pet to receive care is to leave your pet with us for a few hours or a whole day. Frequently used for sick pets and follow-up care, this can also be a good option for those having trouble getting in for routine wellness care.
